21 Day Fix Weekend Tips

So you’ve recently started the 21 Day Fix, and you’re rocking it! But…OH NO! The weekend is upon us! You think of all the parties, and get togethers, or date nights you may encounter. So how do you make it through without totally sabotaging you’re progress so far??

Here are my pre-planning tips to get you through the weekend!


If you are going out to a restaurant check out the menu ahead of time. Decide on what you are going eat before you even get there.  That way when you sit down at the restaurant you won’t have to fight against temptation and you won’t even have to open the menu!  And by the way, just SKIP the bread, it has no nutritional value!

Also, keep in mind restaurant portions are NOT REAL PORTIONS. I like to ask for a box right away, and stick half of my meal in the box from the get go, so there’s no over eating!


For parties, pre-eat!  So have a shake on your way to the party.  Offer to bring a clean appetizer or snack.  Then make every social gathering about socializing with others and not about the food.  Stay away from the food table.  I help set up, get the kids food, and then help clean up so I am never forced to have to just sit and stare at everyone else shoving food down their throats.


Drink lots of water!!!  Just remember that you are not depriving yourself of life, you are giving yourself life!  When everyone is feeling full, sluggish and miserable you are going to be looking fabulous, feeling confident and have more energy!!

And of course, stick with those workouts! Most programs give you 1 rest day a week, not two or three! I even like to double up on workouts sometimes for the weekend, or add in a run!

So stick with the program, and have fun! This program is helping define a NEW YOU! So don’t let the weekend destroy that!

-Plan it out!  If you are traveling, going to sporting events or just out all day pack a cooler of clean snacks.  Even throw in an extra snack so that you are not caught in a situation where you are out longer than expected and have nothing to eat.  It’s easy to throw in a packet of shakeology, shaker cup and a bottle of water!  I always keep one in the car!

I really love running challenge groups…LIKE REALLY love it! I not only get to help you become a better YOU, but I get to work on myself as well through the process!

They are truly my passion.  Challenge groups have been the best way for me to get to know my challengers and to help them on a daily basis.

A challenge group is all done through a private Facebook group.  Each participate purchases a Beachbody fitness program and commits to drinking Shakeology for at least one meal a day.  In return I will help you with meal planning, grocery shopping, planning and staying on track. The small group environment really works!

No, you don’t need to be a fitness or weight-loss expert to become a Beachbody Coach. You just need to be ready to commit to changing your life and inspiring others to do the same. It is important to be a product of the product!


If you want to rock this business, we are here to help you every step of the way; if you just want the discount and to be a regular Beachbody customer, that is fine too. Just because you sign up for Beachbody Coach discount doesn’t mean you have to actively coach others. Many people sign up just for the discounts.


It only costs $39.95 to sign up as a Beachbody Coach. That includes your first month’s Business Services Fees and your Coach Business Kit, which comes with everything you need to begin earning income. Or you can choose to purchase a challenge pack in which you get a fitness program of your choice, 30 day supply of Shakeology, free shipping and a 30 day trial of the club membership and the coach fee is waived.

If you are wanting to try another Beachbody exercise program then this is by far the best option (for example, 21 Day Fix Extreme).

Each month it is $15.95 to maintain your coaching status, but if you’re on Shakeology you’ll be saving $30 a month so you are still saving money each month! Score!

**I cook for a large family, so you may need to take it down a notch 😀


  • 1/2 cup Homemade Breadcrumbs ( I used Ezekiel Bread)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • heaping 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups cold milk (I used almond milk)
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 Cups sliced zucchini


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl combine breadcrumbs, cheese (if using) and black pepper.
  3. In separate bowl add flour, milk and vinegar.  Stir until combined
  4. Dip zucchini slices in flour mixture and then in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place coated zucchini slices on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, flipping the slices over once halfway through cooking, or until browned and crisp.

21 Day Fix Breakfast Ideas

I NEED variety. I cannot eat the same thing all the time. But with the 21 Day Fix it’s super easy to switch things up. I also LOVE breakfast. So to keep breakfast interesting, I’ve tried these recipes, and all are amazing! Check them out…

1. Whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter. (You could also use sun butter, or almond butter-both equally amazing)

I also like to add some fruit like bananas or strawberries, or both!


2. Steel cut oats w/ fruit


3. Eggs (or egg whites) and turkey bacon

You could add some extra veggies to your eggs as well. I like to add some peppers!


4. Whole wheat waffle w/ fruit


And of course, Shake-o! Probably the best thing you could ave for breakfast.

It’s easy to add different things to your shake-o or just drink it with water! I prefer unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
