Beach Ready in 28 Days


Years ago, I was unhappy in my own skin. I didn’t like the way I looked or felt. I was felt tired, sluggish, lacked motivation, lacked confidence, and didn’t know where to BEGIN. I knew I needed to make a change but I didn’t know where to start. I didn’t enjoy going to group classes, boot camps, or to the gym. And quite honestly, I didn’t feel like I had a whole of extra TIME to commit to doing those things! But I knew I needed to do something.


I heard an infomercial for the 21 Day Fix. I knew there was NO way I could keep up, but I figured it was a place I could start. PLUS, I could do the workouts right from home in 30 minutes or less. PROBLEM solved!

Turns out, the programs also came with a nutrition plan. They told me exactly what I should eat each day based on my current height, weight, and fitness goals. They gave me an idea of what food groups I should be eating, how much of that food group, and how many times per day. It was actually the simplest way any one had ever broken down CLEAN eating for me. Yet again, another PROBLEM solved!

However, I was a quitter. I was someone who would always start something and never finish. I went 100% in for that first week but then I got tired, demotivated, and didn’t see results quickly enough. So those programs went back on my shelf for another year and nothing ever changed for me. I was still tired, sluggish, and unhappy, and about 15 pounds heavier than I wanted to be.

BUT THEN, a year later, I saw someone talk about an accountability group. It was a private facebook group where everyone would do a home fitness program together. The coach would post something in the morning; for example, a motivational quote, video, fitness tip, healthy recipe, snack ideas etc. And at night, she would post another check in! We then had to comment whether we did the workout or not and how our nutrition was on a 1-5 scale for that day!


I needed someone encouraging me along the way, checking in with me, making sure I was following the program, and helping me with the ups and the downs! Three months and three challenge groups later, I had lost the weight! More importantly though, I was REALLY happy. I finally felt good! My energy was through the roof and I was confident in my own skin. Can I admit that shopping became REALLY fun?! ?

So yes, I had results. I had such great results I signed up to be a coach myself. I want to help others FEEL excited to go shopping! I want to help others feel happy, confident, and proud that they DID NOT QUIT. I want to help solve problems: not knowing what to do, where to start, and not having enough time. >>> I can help with this!

21 Day Fix Cheesy Potato Soup

OK so it is super cold here in FL. Well, its 60 degrees, but that’s freezing as far as i’m concerned!

What’s super yummy on a cold day? SOUP!

Recently I saw one of those ridiculously delicious viral Facebook videos, where you see the entire recipe unfold before you. Then you see the finished product, and most of the time say to yourself “I need that NOW.”

Well that happened with a stupid, creamy potato soup. So how can you make something so delicious, but not screw up your 21 DF meal plan?! Try this….


  1. 2 cups milk of choice (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk because we always have it on-hand)
  2. 2 medium russet potatoes, baked with skin on, loosely chopped
  3. 2 blue containers of cheddar cheese, shredded
  4. 1/2 yellow onion, sliced and sautéed
  5. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  6. 4 teaspoons organic butter
  7. sea salt & black pepper to taste
  1. Add milk, diced potatoes, cheese, onion, garlic powder, butter, sea salt and pepper to blender or high powered mixer. ( I use my Kitchen Aid) Secure lid if necessary.
  2. Mix until desired texture (I like to leave potato chunks
  3. Garnish, top with crumbled turkey bacon, green onions or cheddar cheese, and serving piping hot!
21 Day Fix Servings
1 yellow
1/2 blue
1 teaspoon
4 oz milk (Varies based on your personal milk selection. See page 38 of the 21 Day Fix® Eating Plan.)
  1.  Add some chili powder to boost the flavor level.

21 Day Fix Greek Chicken Pita

  • 1 whole wheat pita, cut in half to make pockets
  • 3 oz cooked chicken breast, boneless, skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped red onion (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 2 Tbsp. crumbled feta cheese (about 1/2 oz)


  1. Fill pita halves evenly with chicken, tomato, cucumber, onion (if desired), oregano, lemon juice, romaine, and cheese.
  2. Enjoy

 1 Green, 1 1/2 Yellow, 1/2 Red, 1/2 Blue

21 Day Fix No Bake Cookies

Being that I’m just about in the second trimester of my pregnancy, my cravings are in full swing. But I of course need to keep what i’m eating, and feeding the baby, in check! Here is one of my super quick, go to desserts when I need something sweet, that won’t hurt my whole weekly progress! My mom used to make her version of no bake cookies all the time growing up, so this recipe is definitely a win for me!

1 cup natural peanut butter

3/4 cup honey

1/2 cup coconut oil

2 tsp vanilla

2 1/4 cup oatmeal

6 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • Melt peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in a sauce pan over medium heat.  Stir.
  • Once melted remove from heat and add vanilla, cocoa powder, and oatmeal.
  • Stir and drop by spoonfuls on parchment paper.
  • Place in fridge to harden.
  • Enjoy!  Place extra cookies back in the fridge for later.

I usually can make between 24-30 cookies with this recipe, depending on the size.

New Year, New You

Every new year we set our New Year’s Resolutions…What’s yours this year?  Have you thought about it?  Well, I’ve been thinking a lot about it over the last few weeks.  What do I want to accomplish this new year, how do I want to improve myself, what are my goals for health, fitness, my Beachbody business, etc.  With a new baby on the way, staying fit is a high priority.

I have to say that doing a workout at home by yourself with no support is pretty hard. But knowing you have a place to check in each and be accountable to makes all the difference in the world.
